Cute & whimsical

On day 5 for Holiday style the theme was Cute & whimsical. I made a simple card, using a free digital download, but I can´t remember the name of the brand. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the notes come from Lawn Fawn. I colored my image with Copic markers and used some clear Wink of Stella on the Santa hats.

1 stamp, 5 ways

Todays theme for Holiday style was 1 stamp, 5 ways. The stamp set used was Scribbly christmas from Tim Holtz. I made a card with that stamp set yesterday, but I really wanted to participate in todays lesson as well. So I made a card that I think is a mix between Soft & subtle and Shimmer & shine.IMG_4153

Maybe it counts as Clean & simple too? I made a watercolor background with a stencil from Memory box on Canson watercolor paper, heat embossed my christmas tree with Liquid platinum embossing powder that I also used for the sentiment stamp from Hero Arts. Finished off with some sequins and mounted it to a piece of black cardstock. That was attached to the card base with foam tape for some dimension. Have a great day and take care. /Hanna

Clean and simple…

The theme for first day of class in Holiday style was ”Clean and simple”. I don´t know if this card counts as clean and simple, but the most important is to have fun and create something.

I made ten tags with different christmas trees from Tim Holtz, I embossed them with gold embossing powder and then used distress stains to color the cardstock. After that I arranged some sentiment stamps on my stamp press and stamped over the tags. The pattern papers are from Tim Holtz ”Yuletide”, I just love that paperstack. Have a great day and take care. /Hanna

Christmas card

It´s been ages since I updated my blog. From now on I will try to be better. Right now I´m participating in the Online card class ”Holiday Style”. It´s so much fun but I get stressed since there are so many things I want to do. But today the theme was Shimmer & shine cards and since I love shimmer and shine I just had to make a card.

I used Dreamweavers embossing paste in gold and a stencil from Memory Box. The stamps are from Hero Arts and their ”My monthly hero” kit from October. I stamped the sentiment with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with Rangers embossing powder in gold. Have a lovely day and take care. /Hanna

Pocket letters

Pocket letters where created by Janette Lane and has become a new trend among paper crafters around the world. I think it´s going to grow even more. Visit Janettes blog for more information: janettelane.blogspot.com . I have finished 2 pocket letters so far, but I am working on several more, since new pocket letter pals show up all the time, and you can also participate in different swaps online. See the web page pocketletterpals.com. These are some pictures of my second pocket letter. Front, back and a little mini notebook I created for one of the pockets. Have a nice day.
